Prof. A.K. Singh, Chairperson of BECI delivered the inaugural key-note speech on the Cleantech scenario in India. He highlighted how the Cleantech Revolution, with the help of environmental, technological, economic, and social factors, will be one of the largest sectors for rural development, employment, and inclusive growth. He also covered its role in transportation systems to reduce carbon footprints and investment models through CDM.
The speakers shared multi-disciplinary career paths and opportunities for engineers, scientists, and aspiring entrepreneurs in the cleantech industry.
